Kava Recipes
Kava is known throughout the Pacific as both a traditional and social drink. Although we recommend drinking it the traditional way simply by mixing it with water, there are a few kava drink recipies that may help take the taste away.
Kava-Colada
Serves 2 - 3 so invite your friends around and share the happiness.
Ingredients
• 3/4 cup pineapple juice made into ice cubes
• 3-4 Tbsp. Vanuatu Noble Kava
• 1/2 cup coconut milk
• 1 Tbsp. coconut cream
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 6 ice cubes (made from water)
• 1/2 tsp. Cacao Powder
• 2-3 pineapple wedges
• 3/4 cup pineapple juice made into ice cubes
• 3-4 Tbsp. Vanuatu Noble Kava
• 1/2 cup coconut milk
• 1 Tbsp. coconut cream
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 6 ice cubes (made from water)
• 1/2 tsp. Cacao Powder
• 2-3 pineapple wedges
Directions
• Freeze pineapple juice in an ice cube tray.
• Combine kava, coconut milk, coconut cream and orange juice in
a blender.
• Blend for 4 minutes
• Strain out kava pulp with the Kava Pros Strainer bag.
• Add pineapple ice cubes and 6 ice cubes made from water to the blender.
• Pulse just enough to crush the ice.
• Pour into a glass or for a tropical feel, use a coconut shell.• Sprinkle with cacao powder and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
• Combine kava, coconut milk, coconut cream and orange juice in
